Vittorio Dassi's workshop in Lissone, Milan, produced fine handcrafted furniture throughout the middle of the 20th Century.

This large shelving unit can be completely freestanding if you wish, with back and front finished in superb heavy teak veneer. The legs are solid Brazilian Rosewood, the shelves are solid timber in a mixture of Rosewood and Teak.

Parts include: drinks cabinet/secretaire; small drawer unit; drawer unit with cupboard; cupboard unit with single shelf; large cupboard with shelves. All cupboards are lockable. Brass locks, all with original keys.

Beautiful hand turned brass lugs hold all parts in place, suspended on legs/racks.

This unit will be professionally restored in 2015, until that time it is available for sale as is. The final fully restored price will be closer to $12,000 AUD.

Materials Solid Brazilian Rosewood, Solid Teak, high quality Teak veneer in some parts. Elm and various other timbers to drawer interiors. Hand turned bolt fixtures. Brass locks, plates and keys.
Condition Good. Various superficial scratches, minor splitting at bottom hinge of 2 cupboard doors, chipped front edge of drawer unit, one chipped foot, various marks and dents consistent with age and family use. One shelf end timber split but functional and sound.
