A lovely decanter/flask in midcentury Italian 'rustic' style by reknowned Italian decorative artist Aldo Tura. The design was realised by the Macabo workshop, by skilled woodcarving artisans. Unfortunately, the base of the flask was split in three and the centre section missing, so we had to replace it. Therefore the base does not show the Macabo stamp.

However, the inimitable style, quality and design can only be attributed to Macabo and Aldo Tura, as shown by illustrations included here of matching pieces sold by an American dealer.

As the Macabo stamp is not present, the price of this item is about half that otherwise charged for these rare pieces of collectable barware.
