Pair of wall lights designed in 1955 by Wilhelm Wagenfeld for Lindner Leuchten, Bamberg, Germany. PRICE FOR PAIR.

Porcelain fixture and fittings with tall milk glass shade and threaded closure. No rubber rings. One in perfect condition, one with small nibbles on glass thread and on procelain thread to the interior - not visible and does not affect function or fitting.

These lights have an impressed production number #6060. They are documented in the LIndner Leuchten catalogue of Wagenfeld lighting and in the key text of Wagenfeld's work, 'Taglich in der Hand: Industreiformen van Wilhelm Wagenfeld aus 6 Jahrzehnten', Manske and Sholz, Worpsweder Verlag, 1998.

This model won the iF (Industrie Forum) European award for design, lighting category, in 1955. They are sought after by collectors of Bauhaus and related design and for their timeless industrial design.

Condition Excellent, near perfect. Once had rubber rings to form seal between glass and porcelain to exclude moisture. No rings in this pair but they function perfectly without.
