A rare example of Ellis pottery on a grand scale. This may be a once-only commissioned item from the Ellis Pottery. It has a monumental quality, standing sentinel like a lighthouse or a grand chess piece. 

It's available with either Black or Coral shade as pictured.

Ellis Pottery, based in Abbotsford, Victoria, was the studio of Dasa and Milda Kratochvil. Larger pieces were hand finished by Milda.

CONDITION:

Excellent. Rewired, tested and tagged to Australian Standard. Some crazing of glaze on prominent parts of lamp, see second to final image, not significant and is consistent and attractive.
