Vintage Space Age Italian Desk Lamp Tubular Metal, Italy c.1970
This 1970s Space Age tubular metal desk lamp is manufactured from a single piece of extruded metal (except the internal bulb holder, which is a removable part). A clever design, elegant and mysterious. Excellent as a light source for a desk, it's also practical and simple.
We've seen one of these before, unattributed, and we can't find any further information ourselves. It was listed as Italian and this is our feeling also. It takes an Edison Screw bulb so we assume it's at the least of European origin.
A fine specimen of 1970s Italian design, ready to rock your desk.

CONDITION:
Excellent. Tested, tagged and ready to use. The in-line switch has been replaced. The surface has been polished and some minor nicks have been carefully coloured and polished to match.
