Rosewood Extension Dining Table, Gudme Mobelfabric, Denmark c.1970

Rosewood Extension Dining Table, Gudme Mobelfabric, Denmark c.1970

A$0.00

Rosewood veneer top over a solid rosewood base. Beautifully detailed, with a master-crafted extension function - simple, elegant and easy to open/extend/close singlehanded. Features beautiful figured Rosewood top, lockable at every stage of extension, the leaves store inside extension mechanism - solid construction and beautiful craftsmanship. This is a magnificent table for family or formal dining. Seats four to six comfortably when closed, eight comfortably when fully extended and ten total without too much fuss.

Amazingly compact when fully closed. The table is light enough for two people to move with ease and for one person to open and extend without assistance.

The sixties/seventies styling is restrained so this table can smoothly join contemporary or vintage furniture in your home, adding function and quality.

This model is often attributed to Niels O. Moller but there is no proof for this claim, which seems to be based solely on the high quality of the table's design and construction.
