Restored Black Steel 'Servofumo' Caddy by Castiglioni for Zanotta, 1961
Restored Black Steel 'Servofumo' Caddy by Castiglioni for Zanotta, 1961
A super-handy caddy - a place to put your mobile phone, headphones, earbuds, wallet, keys or other small stuff you don't want cluttering surfaces but you want at hand, in the office, hallway or bedroom. The smooth handle and 'just right' weight make this a deeply satisfying object to use.
Servofumo, as the name suggests, was designed for smokers. The bowl was designed to be filled with sand. Uses in a post-smoking world are limited only by imagination. It’s complete strip and re-coat means it’s food safe. Put it beside the lounge and filled it with candy, anyone?
