A handmade chunk glass pendant light in the style of Willem Van Oyen for RAAK. This 1970s Australian production was a lighting design project. It has heavy Arts and Crafts styling and a strong 1970s folk vintage vibe.
Chunks of plate glass have been laminated over coloured sheet glass and attached to the hand built copper housing. The thick glass outer produces a beautiful sea green refraction and makes the colours richer.
This is a light designed to offer character in a hallway or as a feature light over a table, near a fireplace, hanging low where it's beautiful colours can be enjoyed.
