Rugiodoso Glass Leaf Wall Sconce Attrib. to Toso, Italy, 1970s

Rugiodoso Glass Leaf Wall Sconce Attrib. to Toso, Italy, 1970s

A$0.00

This splendid leaf-form Murano glass sconce sets a mood of intimacy. The high quality and solid brass fittings point to Barovier and Toso as the manufacturer, though there is no label or mark.

The glass is clear with no gold or coloured inclusions. The "Rugiodoso" or 'dew' technique consists of dusting the back of the shade with glass particles to Frost it or give the appearance of dew.

The glass is attached to a solid brass backplate and all fittings for wall fixture are in place. This light has been rewired to Australian Standards.
