Set of Three Early 20th Century Turned Maple Juggling Pins or Clubs
A beautifully coloured and patinated set of three antique juggling pins. These are well-used and have acquired a deep character and rich colour.
We've cleaned and lightly waxed them as they were coated in bits of dessicated newspaper from storage. They're ready to grace your sideboard, or stand with dignity in any space.
Signed H.H. on the base of one club, they are so well used our imaginations are going wild. Someone's grandma or grandpa had a great story to tell about their juggling career.
They all stand on their own but one has a slight lean on it due to a cut on one edge of the base and a small loss of wood fibres on that cut. The uneven standing of that club tickles us pink - it's way cooler bending than if it were perfectly straight. Just like life. I'm a little bit in love with these.
