Incredibly delicate appearance is married with extreme toughness and Wagenfeld's signature Bauhaus combination of practicality and beauty in this fabulous set of eight 'Jena Glas' items.
The set consists of ten items - a 1ltr teapot, sugar, creamer, sandwich plate, six cups and saucers of tempered glass from Jenaer Schott & Genossen Glassworks, Mainz, West Germany.
This set was produced around 1957, after Wilhelm Wagenfeld's original design was slightly modified by Heinrich Loffenhardt. It is in very good to excellent condition, the teapot is in excellent condition complete with infuser and lid, with only a 1mm or 1/32 inch fleabite on a saucer and some scratches on the cake plate, illustrated in accompanying images.
The measurements given after the description apply only to the teapot. Creamer 8.5 cm diam x 6 cm high, sugar 9.5 diam x 5 cm high, plate 23.5 cm long x 12.7 cm wide. teapot 16 cm diameter body, 23 cm spout tip to end of handle, 13 cm high, 1ltr capacity.

CONDITION:
Very good condition. Scratches to surface of sandwich plate. Sugar bowl has very slight signs of wear. Creamer, very slight signs of wear. Cups/Saucers, slight signs of wear. A couple of tiny 1mm fleabites to two plate edges. Tea pot shows minimal wear.
