Brumbury Lamp by Luigi Massoni for Guzzini Italy Circa 1970

Brumbury Lamp by Luigi Massoni for Guzzini Italy Circa 1970

A$0.00

The Brumbury is by far the loveliest Italian table lamp we've stocked. Beautiful lit and unlit, it was designed by Luigi Massoni in 1972, for Harvey Guzzini.

The potential of Guzzini's high quality plastics for the production of luxury lighting is perfectly realised in these lamps.

This lamp still has an original Harvey Guzzini label.

it has a single switch - other models have a double switch allowing you to light the outer ring of lights separately from the top bubble. It can be rewired to a double switch but I’m selling as is.

DIMENSIONS:

Diameter 44 cm

Height 43 cm

CONDITION:

Excellent vintage condition. Tested and Tagged to Australian Standards. Rubber ring that separates white body from chrome base has multiple vertical cracks - normal for age - these are superficial cracks, not breaks or losses. They do not affect function and are not obvious.

BULBS:

Each lamp requires four SBC (small bayonet cap) or B15 bulbs. The most even light is achieved by using frosted bulbs.
